Hi, I’m Brittany newell.
With a decade of experience in trusts and estates, I’ve witnessed how often families are left navigating the emotional realities of illness, loss, and transition without enough support. My work as both a doula and an attorney bridges the space between practical planning and compassionate care, helping families move through life’s hardest moments with clarity and connection.
My Approach
As a UCLA-trained attorney with over a decade of experience in trusts and estates, I have guided clients through the legal realities of death for years. As a University of Vermont certified end-of-life doula, hospice volunteer, and certified dementia care practitioner, I also sit alongside clients in the human experience of it.
I work with individuals during life’s most uncertain transitions—after a difficult diagnosis, during hospice, and in the time surrounding loss. My role is to help ease the emotional weight of the dying process while ensuring that legal and practical matters are handled with care and intention.
This integrated approach allows my clients to feel more supported, more prepared, and less alone—both in life and in what comes after.
